Overview
This website at https://salientsecurity.com is operated by ATT-PEN Services, LLC dba Salient Security Solutions (“Salient Security Solutions,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the site, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have.
This policy applies to information collected through this website. It does not cover information you provide to us under a separate, signed consulting engagement, which is governed by that agreement. The site is intended primarily for business users in the United States; if you access it from outside the U.S., see “Your rights” and “International visitors” below.
Information we collect
Information you provide
When you submit our contact form or request a free resource (a “lead magnet”), we collect the information you enter:
- Your name
- Your work email address
- Your organisation (optional)
- Any message you choose to include (contact form only)
We also record limited technical metadata with each submission — a timestamp and an identifier for the form used — to deliver the requested resource and to detect and prevent spam and abuse. We do not ask for, and request that you do not submit, sensitive personal information or confidential details about your organisation’s security posture through these forms.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs when pages are requested — for example, IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. These logs are used to operate the site, maintain security, and diagnose problems. This site is a static website and does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies (see “Cookies and analytics” below).
How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- Deliver the resource you requested and respond to your inquiry;
- Communicate with you about your request and our services;
- Send occasional security- and governance-related updates, where permitted — you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any such email or by contacting us;
- Detect, prevent, and investigate spam, abuse, and security incidents;
- Operate, maintain, and improve the website; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
Legal bases (EU/UK visitors). Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent (for optional marketing emails), our legitimate interests (responding to inquiries, securing and improving the site), and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.
How long we keep it
Contact form and lead-magnet submissions are retained for up to 24 months after our last interaction with you, after which the records are deleted or irreversibly anonymized. You may request earlier deletion or correction at any time by emailing us; unsubscribed contacts are removed within 30 days of the request.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use advertising cookies, Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, or other cross-site tracking technologies, and it sets no tracking cookies. As currently built, the site runs no third-party analytics of any kind. If we later add a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool, we will update this section to name it and describe what it measures before it goes live.
How we share information & third-party services
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the site and respond to you, and where required by law. Those providers include:
Scheduling (Cal.com)
Our contact page includes a scheduler from Cal.com, used to book calls. The scheduler loads only when you interact with the scheduling area — not automatically on page load. If you book through it, you submit your information directly to Cal.com under their Privacy Policy ↗.
Hosting & form processing (Cloudflare)
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and form submissions are processed by our serverless functions running on Cloudflare’s platform. Cloudflare acts as our processor and handles data under its Privacy Policy ↗.
Email delivery
When you submit a form, an email notifying us of your submission is delivered to us via [CONFIRM: name your email-sending service and link its privacy policy — e.g. “Resend (Privacy Policy),” Postmark, or SendGrid. This is the only processor that could not be determined from the site source; confirm the actual service before publishing, then delete this note.]
Legal and protective disclosures
We may disclose information if required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our visitors, our business, or others.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International visitors
We are based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate. If you access the site from the EU, UK, or elsewhere, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your home country.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. To exercise any of these, email us at [email protected]; we will verify your request and respond as required by applicable law.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing.” We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
- EU/UK (GDPR): the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
- Everyone: you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time, and you can ask us to update or delete the contact details you submitted.
Children’s privacy
This is a business website and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
